Abortion Alternatives/Options Consultation

Our staff and volunteer coordinators provide one-on-one support and compassionate concern for all that come through our doors.  Some are considering abortion.  Many are overwhelmed by their circumstances or may be pressured by others to choose abortion.  Our trained volunteers  communicate acceptance and compassion in which women can make life-affirming choices.
All services are free of charge:

• Pregnancy testing
• Ultrasound 
• Consultations with trained volunteers regarding pregnancy options
• Abstinence education and STD information
• Post-abortion recovery and support
• Educational opportunities through the Right Turns program.
• Material assistance and resources
• Emotional support throughout pregnancy
• Healthcare referrals that support life.

For those clients who are single and sexually active, we promote the physical, emotional and spiritual benefits that are connected with a life-style of sexual abstinence outside of marriage. 

Right Turns Program

Right Turns, an earn-as-you-learn program, is designed to provide support, preparation and tangible assistance to clients who have chosen to carry their babies to delivery.  Parenting and childbirth classes, mentoring, emotional support and spiritual education are just a few of the ways APRC helps women during their pregnancy.  Participants in Right Turns are awarded vouchers that they may exchange for items in our Baby Shoppe.

Abortion Healing and Restoration

For women who have experienced abortion,  APRC can offer a  Bible Study program that brings healing and restoration to hearts that have felt the negative and sometimes devastating emotional and spiritual after-effects.  

The future plans of APRC include the development of a ministry for men, job readiness program for our clients, bible studies, and life-skills classes. We also hope to expand our medical services to include STD testing and limited prenatal care.
