What a blessed and whirlwind year we have had at APRC. The Lord showed up and showed off as only He can do. Additionally, you’ve been such an encouragement and source of support to Team APRC and those whom we serve. You are so very valued and appreciated.
We hope you take joy in all that has been accomplished this year and all that the New Year holds for APRC. At the writing of this letter, APRC has served more individual clients and more new clients than ever before. This year, APRC is trending toward performing the second highest number of pregnancy tests in a single year and the greatest number of ultrasounds performed!
APRC’s Fatherhood Program is really growing. More men than ever have participated in APRC’s myriad of services this past year. If we continue on this course, we will also serve more men than ever before! Even considering the increase, men continue to comprise approximately 24% of the clients we serve.
APRC has officially partnered with Family God’s Way to facilitate the Birth of a Family: Completing Family Circles with Fathers platform for APRC clients as well as in our community. We are influencing program participants toward Biblical relationships, lifestyles, households, and marriages.
At our annual gala, An Evening of Hope in September, we saw a video of a young couple that had received various services at APRC. I’m pleased to announce that they have welcomed their daughter. She made her debut on 9 November. Both mother and baby are doing well.
Also at the gala, we announced the intentional collaboration with the Morning Center to offer free Christ-centered, prenatal, maternity, and postpartum care to a medically needy population. This is a natural progression of our current array of programs and services and will impact the atrociously high maternal mortality and infant mortality rates in Georgia.
A very heartwarming and tear jerking thank you letter was received from one of our youngest and oldest clients this past year - youngest in that his mother was amongst one of our first clients in 2007 and oldest in that he is now 9 years old. The first generation of APRC babies are in the 4th grade.
APRC will celebrate its 10-year anniversary in March 2017. Wow! We’re so excited. Stay tuned as the details unfold throughout the year.
We are hopeful and excited for the vision and strategic direction set before us, as APRC increases its reach and continues to impact the community for life and for Christ!
Please donate today toward APRC’s end of year fundraising goal of $25,000.
Your gift of $50, $100, $300, $600, $1,200, or any other amount will enable
us to finish this very busy year of 2016 strong. Your recurring monthly gift
will give us a jump start on 2017, for an even stronger foundation,
as APRC looks to Serve More and Save More in 2017.
Thank you in advance for your consideration.
May the love, joy, blessings, and hope of this Christmas season abound as you commemorate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ.
